I spent the day helping to admit children with chloriquine-resistant malaria, in contrast to the variety of last week. The influx of these cases happens at this time, ie: the end of the rainy season, every year. It was useful for me as I was able to insert intravenous lines into little hands, something I usually shy away from. The children didn't have the benefit of Emla (anaesthetic cream) yet they cried less than those I saw during my Paeds rotation at home.

Beenie- that's interesting- I thought Madrid would be more similar to London. Smiles to you and Akesa.

Corpus and Cauda- do stick a flag on the friend map and tell me about your days in Chicago!
